She Ran for Her Life...

When the winds, had to reign,
Blowing off, the peace and the trails,
The night of fears, made her a slave,
She ran for her life, and hid in the cave.

The numbness, in her blue palms,
Worsened like the, reigning storm,
When the snow stood tall, like a wall,
Blocking the entrance, making her crawl.

The paleness, in her white face,
Whitened like, the snowy cave,
When she heard. the growl escape,
The furious bear, oh he's awake.

He's fur, was white like a swan,
With teeth that's sharper, than a dog's,
On her lips, was a sorrowful song,
In her head, was unending wars,
For a while she felt, her heart pause.

No space to run, she crawled instead,
With screams and cries, her tears she shed,
She shut her eyes, she held her head,
With the warm touch, she felt on her leg,
She opened her eyes, she's on her bed.

When The Lights Went Out...

Surrounded by four brick walls, I could not look out, they were too tall, Watching the steam escaping the spout, I looked out the windows so small. On this chilly and gloomy night, I was amazed by the stars so bright, I realized there's always some light, It's just a matter of catching our sight. At the time, everybody just frowned, My heart was filled with stormy clouds, Seated on the chilly ground, I enjoyed, the chirping sounds. Even though I had to shout, Trying hard to chase away the stormy clouds, With a prayer requesting for a favor, To the lessons taught by nature, My head I bowed, On the gloomy night,  When the lights went out. -Debra R. The place which once was considered home by many...

I knew a place where people called home But they were considered unconscious prisoners They didn't know, They didn't see it coming I knew a place where people thought was paradise But they were considered brainless slaves They didn't know, They didn't see it coming I knew a place where people were ready to die for And the place was ready to kill them all They didn't know, They didn't see it coming I knew a place where people spent their days & nights The place welcomed them with fake delight They didn't know, They didn't see it coming I knew a place where people wasted their personal life And was encouraged and cherished for doing so They didn't know,  They didn't see it coming I knew a place who gave many their pride And burned that pride into ashes in a blink of an eye They didn't know, They didn't see it coming I knew a place which was everything to many But they were just a replaceable resource They d

We All Can Be Mistaken...

Suddenly I felt so awaken, I dropped off the conversation, Taking all points to consideration, Oh, how can life be such a complication? Look around, look at the civilization, How sad to see, they lack admiration, Is it a fault in the configuration? Oh, how can they measure life with calculations? They were in the process of computation, They judged her stupidity with shouts of celebrations, It may be innocence, my heart thirsted for confirmation, But the air was filled with confrontation. It's clear for sure, they lack admiration, Then again, I heard the continuation, They judged another along with her acceleration, They said its pride, but my heart thirsted for confirmation. It seems like they have not escaped colonization, I did not mind, cause my heart thirsted for confirmation, In desperate need of proper communications, I ran off for some consultation. I cried out loud they all are mistaken, But what if you too are mistaken, Oh, that voice
