Oh, Sweet Maiden!

A burning flame, Glaring at, the steaming lane, The land of all, massacred slaves, Ripped by love, the origin of fate. Oh, that land, the rose crammed bed, Jammed with laughs, and smiles unshed, Pure as the heart, of an infant at rest, Led by the God, of foul prospects. The enchanter, of the dark, To the illusion, of a delicate arch, With the maiden, of sweetness at heart, Stepped in to, a mirrored witchcraft. Swinging and swaying, the ballerina passionate, Sliding and leaping, the pianist considerate, Stumbling and collapsing, the maiden naïve and laid, Weeping and hollering, through the crack sorcery reigns. Maiden, sweet maiden, dumbstruck, betrayed, Threw fits at the mirrors, of the enchanted cave, Left at the wilderness, to wither and break, Oh, sweet maiden, Queen Insane. -Nataliya Ludwick- @thepoeticvoyage

Life's Best Portray...

On such a hectic day, Where I will never dream to say, A single word that would not sound grey, How did you fb? how did you manage to make my day? Trying hard to go out of the way, The work kept me stuck on the PC like clay, The beep helped me out to look away from the display, Now I feel like sticking on to my memories like clay. This rhyme for sure may not convey, The entire life we lived those days, But for a while I thought to replay, The love we shared, just let them carry us away. There were days we used to stay, Just to laugh and maybe play, Wasn't it fun the decoration days? The days we swam in utter disarray. Even if I write poems or essays, We can never have that time in the same way, But for sure and forever in my mind you'll stay, And you guys know what?? I think, that was life's best portray. -Debra R. N. Ludwick-

My Heart Missed A Beat...

Staring at the oceans so deep, You should have seen the relay on her cheeks, I wondered why she competes with the seas, Maybe she'll win, cause so great is her weep. Then again, I looked into the seas, I see the waves rising higher than the trees, She sits still and continue to compete, While I ran back, heading towards the street. How strange was that, the wave did not complete, It just went down, as if she accepted defeat, It touched her feet that's fixed as concrete, I saw her smile even through the weep, now that was sweet. I looked at the sea, how can she accept defeat, It's so ahead, nobody on Earth will ever succeed, But she bent down and kissed, her competitors feet, I could not resist but watch them repeat. Time went by and I heard a voice, The weeping girl asked me whether I enjoyed, She smiled at me with her faded eyes, People like the sea are who we mistreat, Was what she said, as she came back to her feet, With that being sai...

In My World You Glitter...

Pages on my calendar, Changed from one to another, That never made any difference, Surely, it's because of her. Seasons changed from spring to summer, Time flew through autumn and winter, I could not resist, but admire the colors, Life is made so easy even easier than the other. Life is short, it's something we discovered, We live our lives and enjoy it to the fullest, Now as I think, there's a thought that bothers, My heart repeats, "Then what about her?" When times are hard with a path that's rougher, I scream "Oh no this is worse than the others", Tapping my head and with a smile my mother, She sits on the floor, and my path is made smoother. When I need more love and affection than ever, I run upstairs and sit by the shutter, Seated next to my loving grandmother, I learn to love and care almost like her. At the start and the end of one day and the other, I kneel down and pray to my heavenly mother, Who interc...

The Heart I Tore...

Oh, that terrible psycho, She'll make your mind blow, I think she got my right toe, Oh no no no, just let me go. No not my sister's stylo, Can you even write though? I feel that you might owe, My sister a brand new stylo. Stop spinning around like a gyro, Oh, please spare the walls yo, No, you can't have my coat, You better know this is my home. Just look at what you've done yo, You act as if you are my foe, Just let go off the pie dough, Go stand outside, out of my door. Such a mess you are yo, I hate you from head to toe, I will never let you come pass the door, You are forbidden forever and more. Looking up, around and below, I saw the ink that she have thrown, It looked as if the stars that glow, In the night sky hidden in my home. I felt so low, so here I go, I saw her seated at my door, So quiet and innocent as a doe, Looking at her my heart tore. I went close to her so slow, She looked at me, I saw her woe, I sai...

Today I Reveal...

I chose to lay in a closed room, Just to escape the words of doom, In a world who hates the flowers that bloom, I wish I could talk to someone, but whom? I shut my eyes for a while, I covered my ears to say it's fine, To stay alone and take my time, But oh no, my troublesome mind. In the world filled with places to wander, With marvelous creations called wonders, And man-made crafts out of timber, This mind just chooses to stay and linger. Lingering in the same old place, As if it's the final phase, I show it through my bitter face, Why can't I just run life's race? Tired is the biggest lie, I tell my mind with a sigh, Sleep is the place I find to hide, I better go read my life guide. The life guide we must read, We find no fear or reasons to weep, Especially before every leap, And at every point you feel too weak. The best gift I've ever received, Is my heart that truly believes, The guard is above to give me relief, Thr...

A Heart Set On Fire...

A persistent beat, From the far East, In a world so quiet, From a heart backfired. Unable to speak, Too shocked to weep, Drowned in sorrows so deep, A heart set on fire. Lifeless knees, Kissing the streets, With tear-less eyes, Beneath the bright skies. Recalling good times, Inquiring why, Wondering how, Good times just fly. Looking at her son, Dragged down to the ground, In the hot blazing sun, Hit down by a truck. She did not speak, She could not cry, But just look at her son, And ask him why, She did not get, Her final Good Bye. -Debra R. N. Ludwick-
