The Poetic Voyage - Poetry Of Life's Journey

To the sky, a gun was fired, A bird shot down, tangled on a wire, Bidding farewell, to the life he desired, He missed a beat, that the heart required. A frizzy worm fell, off his beak, A drizzle of hay, slipt from his feet, The flock flew away, with cries and screams, While baby bird in the nest, longed for his meal. That innocent soul, lifted into the skies, With desires, hopes, and  baby bird in mind, The skies absorbed, the sorrows with sighs, And mourns reigned, for an untold good bye. Tear drops escaped, the eyes of the sky, Rain drops fell, on the nest so fragile, Baby bird wondered, why isn't dad on time, Until the nest fell off, while his broken heart cried. Lying on, the muddy floor, Looking up, he saw a door, That opened wide, with a bright glow, With four wings spread wide, and a cheerful hello. A sweet chirp said, "come darling let's go", Another said "Dads with you, our little fellow",...

Like sharp swords, that insulting mutter, Went through my heart,  for every word I shattered, Wondering who coated your heart with rubber, Oh helpless, yes hopeless I am,  I gobbled my supper. These eyes of mine, has  no difference to a gutter, That poured the water down,  on a rainy summer, "Why aren't anyone of you  brave enough to shut her?" Instead of that, I just said,  "pass me the butter". Oh yes this life, changes like the weather, From the dawn to the nights,  each day, grow tougher and tougher, Going down the memory line,  there's things we discover, After all, there's more appetite,  cause of the smell and the color. My eyes ran, from one corner to the other, Some think they've won life,  cause of an uncertain lover, Another face I see,  like lightening has struck her, In the rush I see sweet smiles,  of heart broken mothers. Why on Earth, do I even care to bother? ...

Living in this world so strange, Birth and Death is the only range, It's never the same for you and me, It's bound to change, can you see? Laying on this ground so hard, Heaven or hell? we have to start, It can be the same for you and me, Heaven is better, can you see? Staring up at the mountain tops, Looking down to the oceans deep, Where ever we are, we might weep, The choice is hard, can you see? Looking at the busy crowd, My eyes ran I couldn't stop, Wondering if they will ever stop, They don't see us, can you see? Crying loud on the noisy street, Hoping at least mom would feel, Holding your hand my lovely twin, We will live if it's God's will, Please don't blame the busy crowd, Even mom left us, didn't you see? -Debra R. One secret I share today, You'll never believe, What I have to say, Waking up on a gloomy day. There was a power cut, My phone was dead, The laptop was shut, I felt so lame. Lifting up my grumpy face, Raising up my grumpy voice, Staring at the bright skies, I was looked at as if I was high. I was shocked to see, It was only me, Who felt gloomy, Everyone else were all bloomy. No body worried about the power cut, It was day time and it was fine, But look around everything’s shut, Look again, everyone's up. The day was good, We had yummy food, I wondered if we got a cook, Surprisingly it was the same old cook. We had fun with at our sweet home, That was a great time I needed more, I asked them what made them change, They told me that I was changed.
