Looking through, the window inside,
On this wonderful day, the sun is bright,
Little birds sing, a joyful rhyme,
A bride prepares, for her carriage ride,
In between four walls, I continued to write.
Children screamed, come quickly let's hide,
By the tree he sat, for the shade they provide,
Cheerful little girls, enjoyed the slide,
Mom continued to say, "come eat your rice",
In between four walls, I continued to rhyme.
The silver fountain, standing tall outside,
With the sun's rays, it had to shine,
The birds dance, and sing inside,
What a beautiful day, what a beautiful sight,
In between four walls, I continued with a sigh.
For understanding there was, a great big fight,
To understand and forgive, was a great big crime,
Living with regrets, is the lesson taught by life,
In this crowded world, I could not cry,
In between four walls, I continued to fake smile.
