Today I Reveal...




I chose to lay in a closed room,
Just to escape the words of doom,
In a world who hates the flowers that bloom,
I wish I could talk to someone, but whom?

I shut my eyes for a while,
I covered my ears to say it's fine,
To stay alone and take my time,
But oh no, my troublesome mind.

In the world filled with places to wander,
With marvelous creations called wonders,
And man-made crafts out of timber,
This mind just chooses to stay and linger.

Lingering in the same old place,
As if it's the final phase,
I show it through my bitter face,
Why can't I just run life's race?

Tired is the biggest lie,
I tell my mind with a sigh,
Sleep is the place I find to hide,
I better go read my life guide.

The life guide we must read,
We find no fear or reasons to weep,
Especially before every leap,
And at every point you feel too weak.

The best gift I've ever received,
Is my heart that truly believes,
The guard is above to give me relief,
Through his guide, today I reveal.

Together Let's Plead...

There used to be days, He stared at the waves, With a smile on his face, Though his heart was scraped. For understanding he craved, Hiding in a dark cave, His sorrows were caged, By the judgments raised. He had no right, to shed a tear, In the light, he lived in fear, To survive, he did not need a beer, Yes he lives, on Earth, right here. The world would say, he's care free, I see him walking, bare feet, This sunny day, on the tar street, They helped him out, the shady trees. This sorrow my friend, would fade away, Our life on Earth, is a short stay, I know you're hurt, in many ways, To the selfish world, we all are preys. Feelings have turned from gold to steel, Idle creeps in to this life, to steal, Each day that ends, is a falling leaf, It's hard, to wake up, from this bad dream, To the one above, together let's plead. -Debra R.
