Gazing up to the stars that shine,
Striving hard to end a sleepless night,
With thoughts that haunt the disturbed mind,
A sigh escaped blowing off the lights.
Striving hard to end a sleepless night,
With thoughts that haunt the disturbed mind,
A sigh escaped blowing off the lights.
Laying one palm on the beating heart,
Pouring out the teardrops,
With a palm that seals the stammering lips,
She failed to save her heart that was lit.
Pouring out the teardrops,
With a palm that seals the stammering lips,
She failed to save her heart that was lit.
Gazing back at the stars that shine,
Inquiring how they shine so bright,
Whispering, "You'll never know fire's crime",
She realized it's the fire that lights.
Inquiring how they shine so bright,
Whispering, "You'll never know fire's crime",
She realized it's the fire that lights.
Staring up with misty eyes,
With thankful lips she praised the skies,
That holds the stars, who chose to light,
The earth during the day and the night.
With thankful lips she praised the skies,
That holds the stars, who chose to light,
The earth during the day and the night.
With shameful lips and a silent cry,
She thanked the starts for standing by,
Not to hug and make her mild,
But to show her the forgotten side.
She thanked the starts for standing by,
Not to hug and make her mild,
But to show her the forgotten side.
This one thought that crossed her mind,
She made a point to get it right,
Her heart that burns for this sleepless night,
Will be a light that indeed will guide,
Many lit hearts that see no light.
She made a point to get it right,
Her heart that burns for this sleepless night,
Will be a light that indeed will guide,
Many lit hearts that see no light.
