Earth Vs. Universe

To us on Earth,
The sun rises and set,
The universe opposed,
The sun is just at rest.

Suspecting the universe,
Earth played her game,
She did not bother,
Until Copernicus told us his name.

Earth decided,
She looks like a plate,
The Universe opposed,
You are supposed to rotate.

Suspecting the Universe once again,
She sailed the seas to find an end,
Finally, she said,
You are right my friend.

The culture remains,
Even now like then,
Not only the Earth and Universe,
But also, men and men.
