Wide awake, on a misty night,
By the lake, where the waters slide,
The monsters shake, the calm beehives,
They are on their way, it's better to hide.
The narrow lane, too hard to ride,
A huge cave, there's no bright light,
The monsters crave, for screams and cries,
They are on their way, hurry up decide.
Far away, where the people reside,
A busy brain, striving hard to climb so high,
The monsters ate, their time and smiles,
They are on their way, how can I abide.
By the lake, of this scary life,
On a rock, of a thoughtful mind,
In my heart, I sit to write,
A rhyme about the bitter times,
Caused by the monsters, hidden inside.
